The respective agreement was concluded between Bohnenkamp and the Dutch manufacturer Molcon BV. As a result of this partnership, Molcon rims will be available throughout the Bohnenkamp Group's entire sales area. As part of the collaboration, both companies are pooling their respective expertise.
Bohnenkamp will contribute its Europe-wide expertise in sales, logistics and service within the fields of agriculture and earthmoving. Molcon complements this with high product quality, technical development expertise and flexible production of rims in OE quality.
Added value for retail partners: availability, quality and planning certainty
For retail sector customers, this partnership provides enhanced security and dependable solutions for everyday operations. Bohnenkamp is incorporating Molcon rims into its product range as a complementary option to those of its existing suppliers, thereby expanding its capacities and options for standardised and customised complete wheels. The products represent high-quality construction and meet the quality requirements of modern OE rims. Automated welding processes are used in the manufacturing process. A two-layer powder coating ensures long-lasting protection against corrosion and mechanical influences.
Thanks to its location in Heinkenszand, the Netherlands, and its integration into the Bohnenkamp distribution network, retail partners benefit from short delivery times, clear structures and a central point of contact. The combination of high product quality, reliable stock availability and fast delivery performance supports reliable planning and efficient retail operations.
Prospects for OE customers
The partnership also opens up additional opportunities for OEMs. Molcon has over 75 years’ experience in the development of original equipment (OE) rims. This forms the basis for high-quality development concepts, which have been further expanded in recent years through, among other things, modern production lines, the use of 3D computational models and flexible just-in-time concepts. Furthermore, the collaboration opens up additional potential in the development of sample models. Requirements can be addressed in a targeted, faster and more personalised manner right from the sampling phase.
