The new tire range offers an outstanding price-performance ratio and was specially tailored to the requirements of the central European markets by the manufacturer in close cooperation with Bohnenkamp. The product range currently comprises seven profiles in 15 sizes that can cover around 75% of market demand. A further expansion of the range is already in progress. Deestone truck tires are available in Central Europe exclusively from the Bohnenkamp Group.
The new series includes profiles for drive axles, steering axles, trailers and construction sites that can be used multifunctionally for regional and nationwide transport, distribution and construction site traffic. Tires with 3PMSF identification are already available for steering and drive axles, and corresponding tires for trailers will follow shortly. With the existing profiles, Bohnenkamp can currently cover solutions for a large part of the applications in demand.
The decision to offer a complete Deestone range for the European market, too, is based on the positive experiences that the Bohnenkamp Group has already gained with the products in other regions. The branches of the Bohnenkamp Eastern Group have been cooperating very successfully with Deestone for 10 years now. Thomas Pott, Bohnenkamp’s General Sales Manager, explains: "Following the favorable experiences in this market, we have also tested Deestone products on the roads of Central Europe over the past 12 months. The extremely positive feedback from our customers prompted us to develop a product line together with the manufacturer that is adapted to the requirements in Europe. With Deestone, which already has a firm place in the truck tire sector in the USA and the Far East, we now want to continue the success story in Europe as well.”
High quality, de minimis support and a regroovable carcass
Deestone truck tires offer high quality at a very competitive price. With their own development division and continuous investment in quality assurance, they offer their customers an excellent price-performance ratio. Partially reinforced carcasses and pronounced rubber core layers ensure that the tire can be regrooved or retreaded. Another advantage: From the safety point of view, many of the Deestone tires are 100% eligible under the de minimis programs.
Founded in 1977, Deestone Co.Ltd. is headquartered in Thailand, where it produces tires for trucks, buses, cars, motorcycles and bicycles in four production plants. The family-owned company's products are available in around 120 countries worldwide and comply with the respective applicable regulations such as DOT (Department of Transportation; USA), E4 (ECE regulations), SIRIM (Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia) and SNI (Indonesian National Standard).
