Hands-On instead of theory: Werkstatt Live at Agritechnica 2025

Bohnenkamp is committed to supporting young talent and demonstrates tire assembly in practice.

Hall 2 becomes the meeting point for the future of agricultural technology at Agritechnica 2025

During Agritechnica 2025, Hall 2 will be the hub for everyone interested in the future of agricultural technology – and not just in terms of technological innovation. In the exhibition area Werkstatt Live, visitors will experience hands-on workshop activities, cutting-edge machinery, and real insights into the profession of agricultural and construction machinery technicians. Planning a visit? Bohnenkamp will be on site, pursuing a clear goal: to inspire the next generation for tomorrow’s workshops and promote young talent in the industry.

Live demonstration with the SICE S 560

At the heart of Bohnenkamp’s presence at Werkstatt Live is the electrohydraulic tire mounting machine SICE S 560, specially developed for the demands of agriculture and forestry. At booth F43 in Hall 2, current and former apprentices in the profession will demonstrate the proper mounting of large agricultural tires live and in a practical setting. They will be supported by Bohnenkamp experts Dennis Kaden and Dirk Lewandowsky, who will be available to answer all questions.

In addition to live demonstrations of service and repair work on tractors and harvesting machines, students can engage with the workshop team at Werkstatt Live to learn more about training and everyday work life. Theme days such as “Agribusiness Day” and “Young Professionals Day” offer additional inspiration for career orientation and provide space for initial conversations about internships and apprenticeships.

Modern technology needs qualified professionals

By participating in Werkstatt Live, Bohnenkamp emphasizes its partnership with dealers and workshops in the agricultural and construction machinery sector – going beyond the tire and wheel business. Together with other machinery manufacturers, Bohnenkamp aims to support the trade in inspiring students to pursue a career as agricultural and construction machinery technicians by offering insights into real workshop processes.

“Even the most advanced technology cannot reach its full potential without qualified professionals,” says Dirk Lewandowsky, instructor at the Bohnenkamp TrainingCenter. “That’s why we support initiatives like Werkstatt Live, which excite young people about technical professions and show them the opportunities in agricultural technology.”

Training, consulting, and accessories from a single source

In addition to machinery, Bohnenkamp offers a comprehensive range of accessories and training programs. These include tire levers, bead holders, inflation aids, mounting paste, and other tools, all summarized in a dedicated product flyer. For those looking to deepen their mounting knowledge, the Bohnenkamp TrainingCenter regularly offers training sessions – including on the large SICE machines. Under the motto “360-Degree Service for Professionals,” Bohnenkamp provides solutions across the entire value chain: from selecting the right products to technical consulting and after-sales service.

Combating the skills shortage together

By participating in Werkstatt Live, Bohnenkamp supports the initiative of the LandBauTechnik Bundesverband e.V. (LBT) called Starke Typen, which aims to inspire young people to become agricultural and construction machinery technicians. The format offers practical insights, opportunities to talk with apprentices and experts, and the chance to meet potential training companies directly. Can’t attend Agritechnica 2025 in person? Werkstatt Live is also available digitally. Various short films provide a glimpse into the daily work of the “Starke Typen” and showcase the diversity of the profession.
