The Osnabrück-based tyre wholesaler Bohnenkamp AG will take on ten trainees as new skilled workers this year, offering virtually the entire cohort a permanent position in the team. The young colleagues began their training at the company together three years ago and are now starting their professional lives after passing their final examinations. The trainees were trained as warehouse logistics specialists, wholesale and foreign trade clerks, marketing communications clerks or IT specialists for system integration.
Young talent is the future
Laura Hopp, personnel manager at Bohnenkamp, comments: "We place a lot of emphasis on ensuring that our trainees receive comprehensive and practical training. For junior staff, this means being involved in company processes at an early stage and having to take on responsibility." Many company departments have explicitly expressed the wish to be supported by the new specialists in the future, which pleases the personnel manager: "As a company, we train our skilled workers so that we can draw on the know-how we have gained even after the training. I am of course very pleased that our team has been strengthened by ten new employees this year. This is something both the trainees and the trainers in each department can be proud of."
At the same time, the interest of the trainees to continue working for Bohnenkamp shows the high quality of the training and the good general conditions in the company.
Support in everyday working life
In the future, the team will be supported by the new employees in logistics, sales as well as in the IT department and marketing.
