Alliance Agro Forestry 333 also excels in Truck Trial

Bohnenkamp sponsors BFS Trucksport Team with forestry tyres

BFS Trucksport Team: Marc Stegmaier, Jan Plieninger

For the first time, Bohnenkamp supported the Business Fleet Services GmbH (BFS) Trucksport Team this year by providing robust tyres. The four Agro Forestry 333 tyres from partner brand Alliance could now prove their off-road qualities in an exclusive Truck Trial Challenge.

How well their MAN truck performs on the strong Alliance Agro Forestry 333 treads was shown by the BFS Trucksport Team driver Marc Stegmaier and co-driver Jan Plieninger in the Offroad Park in Langenaltheim at the beginning of October. On the former quarry’s rugged, hard ground, the profiles brought all the MAN truck’s power to the challenging terrain. In fact, the Agro Forestry 333 was developed by Alliance specifically for forestry use. But with its excellent traction, it was also convincing on the Offroad Park’s stony surface.

The completely newly developed Alliance tread, with its wide steel belt construction, was presented for the first time six years ago. Since then, the Agro Forestry 333 has proven itself in tough forestry operations. The R-1 tyre offers prolonged tread life and excellent protection from cuts and punctures.

With this high-performance tread, the BFS team from Kirchberg an der Jagst in Baden-Württemberg, Germany originally sought to secure a place at the Truck Trial EM 2020. But their grand appearance at the European Championship has been postponed. Like so many other events this year, the organisers have had to cancel the event due to the coronavirus situation. The non-public Truck Trial Challenge in the Offroad Park in Langenaltheim was organised as a substitute event by the Austrian trial organiser OVS for the teams and sponsors  - under strict hygiene conditions.
