The finder only needs tread and manufacturer names to run a comparison with the Bohnenkamp database. Based on the data entered, the tool then finds comparable alternatives from different manufacturers and displays them, including their availability. Now, 100 newly added treads from the landscaping, farm and leisure segment increase the tread-finder options.
The special feature of the system is the real expert knowledge on which the database draws. 'The relationship between individual treads is not determined by our tread finder using search algorithms or sales figures. Instead, our experts have contributed their accumulated knowledge of tyres to the system', says Thomas Pott, underlining the unique selling point of the tread finder. This is because, in addition to the size of a tyre, the intended use and quality are also decisive, 'and this is not clear from technical manufacturer data'.
This is another reason why Bohnenkamp continues to focus on personal service and advice. The company has recently invested again in this area and expanded the team with additional consultants, both in the field and in the office.
