Rugged special treads for various applications and a lot of tyre know-how - this is what those visiting the Bohnenkamp stand B2 experience on the outdoor area of the Steinexpo in Nieder-Ofleiden, Hesse. This is the 11th time Steinexpo has been held in Europe's largest basalt quarry. The stage is set for Bohnenkamp's EM tyre selection to be showcased on site, presented under the motto: "Leaving no stone unturned. The right way!"

In addition to durable and abrasion-resistant tyres for dumpers and dump trucks, operators of wheel loaders and excavators will also be able to find what they are looking for at the Bohnenkamp stand. In addition, the tyre wholesaler from Lower Saxony will exhibit a selection of truck tyres suitable for construction sites from the renowned brands Sailun and Windpower. The first EM truck treads are also expected from the expanding core brand BKT in the coming year. At the upcoming Steinexpo, however, the quality-oriented manufacturer will be represented with treads for the dumper, dump truck and wheel loader segments. A further addition for the EM sector is the up-and-coming Maxam brand with off-road treads for sandy and loose surfaces through to the demanding, high-traction and heavy-duty special tread for mining.
An eye-catcher on the Bohnenkamp AG stand is the Bergmann C828s. The rugged and agile wheel dumper could also be at home at the Steinexpo show venue. For the trade fair, it is fitted with a set of BKT Earthmax SR 41 23.5 R 25 tyres to suit the quarry subsoil.
Bohnenkamp EM range grows
Established throughout Europe, the commercial vehicle tyre specialist has massively expanded its range of EM and industrial treads in recent years. It includes more than 1,500 items - from construction and industrial tyres to rims, tubes and accessories. "Our enormously expanded range of products in the earthmoving sector makes us the ideal partner for dealers and workshops whose focus is in this segment - but also for vehicle manufacturers whose machines we equip ex works together with the ideal combination of EM tyres and rims", emphasises Karsten Krückeberg, Head of the EM & Truck Business Unit.
Maximum availability of EM tyres thanks to logistical strength
In addition to the wide range of products, trade partners particularly appreciate the extremely high availability of all stock. Around 1.5 million items are stored on around 100,000 square metres in the central Bohnenkamp logistics unit at the headquarters in Osnabrück, Lower Saxony. Delivery is usually made the day after the order is received, giving buyers maximum flexibility. After consultation, Bohnenkamp AG even supplies vehicle manufacturers with customised products "right into the production process", explains Karsten Krückeberg.
Proximity, competence and reliability for EM practitioners
The service offer is rounded off by a high level of technical consultation competence and professional support from an experienced team of specialists. Around 60 employees advise the trade and machine manufacturers on the phone or on site and, if necessary, also directly at the end user's premises, on questions such as the suitable tread for specific applications or on upgrades and retrofits. Even custom-made products for highly specialised applications that are not available on the market can be discussed and developed in person. "Our EM specialists are known for their reliability when it comes to technical and professional questions and are happy to share their knowledge in a direct exchange", says Bohnenkamp's General Sales Manager Thomas Pott, praising his team. The profound know-how is based on more than seven decades in the tyre business. In addition to Bohnenkamp's own specialist personnel, the manufacturer BKT also supports the mutual customers with technicians on site if required. The close partnership between Bohnenkamp and BKT throughout the German-speaking region has already enabled many an individual niche solution in the construction and industrial sectors.
